Samuel and his team absolutely deserve a rating beyond five stars! The timing of my decision to sell my Mosman property could hardly have been worse. Shortly after I informed my tenants that I intended to sell the property and asked them to vacate, the Federal Government proposed changes to GST and negative gearing legislation, which caused property prices to plunge. Although I had originally considered renting the property out again, I still needed to proceed with the sale in good faith due to legal requirements. At the first auction, the highest bid was well below my reserve price, and the property passed in. To be honest, I wasn’t particularly disappointed, as I understood the challenging market conditions. What surprised me was that Samuel remained confident that a buyer could be found at my reserve price. He worked tirelessly, exploring every possible opportunity and reaching out to potential buyers. In a declining property market, his determination is rare. Ultimately, he delivered what I had almost begun to doubt was possible: he found a buyer at a price slightly above my reserve, successfully completing the sale. I was genuinely delighted and pleasantly surprised. During a booming property market, it can be difficult to distinguish between average and exceptional real estate agents. However, when the market is declining, Samuel’s sales skills, persistence, and deep understanding of the property market became truly evident.
