Pauline Karatau supervised the sale of my unit at 15/96 Oxlade Drive New Farm in May 2016. This was a very high stakes financial operation for me, so I interviewed half a dozen prospective real estate agents, both locally and out of the city, starting in November 2015. I chose Pauline to handle the sale because I became convinced that she had the best blend of personal skills and business skills to get the best and safest outcome for my family and I. I am pleased with the processes she oversaw. She and her support team of Jez Griffiths and Mathew Karatau gave me invaluable advice on how to prepare and present the property. They were very sensitive to my family's needs and my emotional position, I had lived here for 17 years and moving on was not a simple cognitive process for me. Pauline ran a very professional marketing campaign. She was very attuned on how to present the property in the best light and to a wide potential pool of buyers, without excessive expense. Unfortunately, the market had its confidence shaken half way through the marketing campaign with the calling of a federal election, speculation about the future of negative gearing in future governments and negative press about a unit glut, and potential property bubble. Despite these challenges, Pauline and her team were able to secure a quick sale at a reasonable price. I put this success down to her tenacity and her ability to develop the trust of her clients and in that way assure them of the longer term security of their purchase of my property.
