When we placed our Stradbroke Island property with Chris Ransley for sale after Easter, I think the market was already slow. Then, the cottage had only been advertised about one week when the Covid 19 epidemic hit. My heart sank as I thought there was no chance of a sale under these even more difficult conditions. To add to our woes, Stradbroke Island was then closed to all except residents by the Government because of Covid 19. It took Chris a couple of weeks to find the first offer. I was amazed at his selling skill but the buyer's offer did not meet our needs. After our refusal of that offer I again expected a wait of many months or a year but he came back with an offer much closer to our expectations. when we refused the buyer upped the ante and met our target so the sale proceeded. Settlement occurred in early July. The whole process was made as painless as possible by Chris for which I am very thankful. Chris never missed a beat, was so positive even when I felt all was lost.
