I have had some communication with Ian in the past and found his; manner, sense of humour, affability and direct approach, engaging to the point where I kept him in mind for this most recent auction.
Interactions with Ian were always professional in nature, direct and to the point. His communication skills were excellent and that coupled with Ian's knowledge of the area and what I needed to do prior to auction, made the whole process that much less painful.
'The campaign' as it was referred to, was carefully outlined and house inspections were flagged well ahead of time. Any questions I had were addressed and the meetings that we had, were invaluable in allowing me to understand and work within the auctioning process as the seller. The supply of market material prior to the auction in terms of what prices houses were achieving in this area was quite insightful to have and Ian was always willing to respond to any questions I raised.
Ian's approach as stated earlier was direct and to the point. Moreover, his affability meant that the dissemination of information and explanations of the processes involved made the whole experience much more palatable and made it easier to achieve not just the desired result but allowed for the building of trust, between seller and agent.
There also seemed to be a high level of coordination between Ian, Rose and other members of the team. I was also kept apprised of buyers views their level of interest and other related matters. From my point of view, no messages were lost 'in translation.' Communication is key and at no time was I disappointed.
Ian and his team were able to achieve an excellent outcome and one in accordance with what had been indicated in our initial discussions.
