I felt pressured to outlay money on photographs for internet advertising as well as billboard outside house because the agent told me it was necessary. It turns out they already had a favoured applicant. I told the agent I did not want a billboard erected on my first contact with him, but the board went up anyway and then caused problems of people entering not just my property but also my neighbour's over December when obviously the agents were not present and before the official 'open house'. I was pressured also to have the property available before I could finish the renovations. This caused me considerable anxiety as it was a busy time in my profession (Christmas and dying church member in hospital then funeral) surgery).

Nothing really noteworthy. Communication early on was good around securing the property, lease signing and everything was very standard and easy. Moved in to find quite a lot of maintenance issues that weren't disclosed but the agent has responded to our concerns. No action as yet that we know of, but it's still very early. Overall, very standard experience. Whether it works out to be particularly good or bad is yet to be seen

Our very last inspection on a very long day, Tommy was so sweet. He let me drag on a bit about my day. He said “hopefully it’ll be your last (inspection)” I thought he was just being nice. Fast forward to the Monday, I had received a called from another real estate saying they’d be surprised if we got approved for a brand new house at all (had just sold our first home of almost 17yrs). About an hour later, Tommy calls to say we got approved for their new home and I cried. Tommy went through all the details of what we needed to do and him and Chris have been honest and amazing throughout this experience. Just waiting for when we can collect the keys!
