Unlike many agents who focus on their years of experience (me - 12), sales numbers (me - 41 in the last year), or background (me - marketing), I prioritize being the best agent I can be, not necessarily the biggest.
The question of what defines the "best" agent is subjective, as selling approaches vary greatly. While verifiable facts like sold price and days on market provide some objective measures of an agent's performance, some aspects, such as open house visitors and offers, can be harder to quantify.
To evaluate my performance, I use four benchmarks: Expertise, Enthusiasm, Energy, and Empathy.
1. Expertise: I've accumulated knowledge from years of experience and ongoing learning. My local expertise as a Kenmore native and my commitment to continuous learning ensure I provide informed guidance to buyers and sellers, allowing them to make confident decisions.
2. Enthusiasm: I'm genuinely passionate about real estate, seeing potential in every property, even when sellers may not. I enjoy presenting a property's merits to potential buyers and helping people in their home-buying journey.
3. Energy: While I'm not an Energizer Bunny, I put substantial effort into each campaign, driven by the desire to fulfill my promises to clients and achieve the best results. I maintain the same energy level, regardless of a property's value.
I dedicate extra effort to two critical campaign components:
- Presentation: I believe in selling the lifestyle a property offers. I work closely with sellers to enhance their home's presentation, even providing my own decor items. My property photoshoots reflect this dedication.
- Marketing: With a background in marketing, I pay attention to detail in photos, copywriting, and online presentation. I produce customised, multi-page brochures for open homes, emphasising quality marketing above the competitors.
4. Empathy: Unlike the aggressive stereotype often associated with agents, I adopt a softer, more empathetic approach. I aim for informed, pressure-free decisions by listening and understanding both buyers' and sellers' needs.
