My transition into real estate came about from the desire and commitment to achieve the absolute best outcome for my sellers and buyers through care and genuine communication. My career in the industry began in 2008, I was looking for a change having done all that I wanted to achieve in my previous life as a fashion designer and wholesaler. I had just moved back from living overseas with my young family and was looking for a home. I found the process extremely challenging. The real estate market had peaked in the previous years, much like we’ve experienced in recent times and the global financial crisis had hit. I found that the agents that I came across at that time were mostly lazy and didn’t engage with me. So I decided to throw myself right in and offer some energy and enthusiasm to the industry and I haven’t looked back. In my first year, I won a Master Club Award and took out Queensland Rookie of the year with the brand that I was with. I credit my early success in real estate to a thirst for learning and a genuine love of people, as well as possessing tenacity and drive.
