As at writing this review we have not as yet moved into the property. I first met Kira-Lee at the open home for our soon to be occupied rental. First impressions were good. It was a VERY hot and humid afternoon and Kira-Lee was looking a bit 'flushed' but not rattled. There were many people in attendance and she acknowledged everyone as they arrived. As the former tenants were still occupying the house, she gave a clear direction to respect the current occupiers as many of their personal items were still in the property. (not open cupboards etc). After my inspection I spoke with her briefly on a few things but in particular about pets and the possible negotiation of the advertised rent. she was informative in her response on the animals and honest in her opinion re any rental reduction. Her reply was similar to 'put in a request for reduction, but as there was a lot of interest in the property it may not be accepted - the owners discretion'. I decided to apply as I felt it suited my needs. I was very impressed at the amount of information I received on commencing the application process, to progress reports and delays that were being caused. I have rented privately for over 15 years (2 properties) and have never had so much information available to me. I mean this in a positive way. On approval she was also swift in providing information on what was required next and the lease agreement for signing, and acknowledging emails received by her. If this pre rental experience continues with her efficiency I will be more than happy. I hope we have a positive relationship throughout the next 12 months.
