As an executor, I had the responsibility of selling our parent’s family home. This made it an emotional journey and a little overwhelming. Louise showed compassion in her dealings and her guidance throughout the process. She helped us understand the most cost effective and simple touches that present the home to stand out from the rest of the market. She kept in touch throughout, providing excellent advice and the resulting speed and price in the sale of the property showed her understanding of the market was very thorough. while getting the property ready for sale, she rolled up her sleeves and got stuck into everything from scrubbing marks of a wall in the kitchen to pulling weeds from in between the paving. Louise used her artistic flair to merge the existing decor with some of her own pieces, lifting each room for maximum effect. During this transformation of the home we grew up in, Louise gently encouraged us through the process of letting go by explaining the need to ensure the prospective buyer was being welcomed into their prospective new home rather than feeling they were intruding on someone else’s. This understanding of how to present a property, I believe, was the key to the successful outcome that was achieved. all of this preparation took time but then the property sold after being online for a week and after one home open. So if you are after a quick sale with minimal effort from your realtor and yourself then maybe Louise is not for you, but if you are prepared to take advice, put in a bit of extra effort and allow Louise to work her magic then you will be rewarded.
