It was great pleasure to work with Adele. Based on her experience, she initially offered some practical ideas to be implemented in order to improve a chance of selling and to boost an esthetic presentation of the house and the garden. Then, she remained very active and focused throughout the entire process of selling. She maintained close connection with a potential purchaser in order to secure the sell. I've known Adele Colman by her involvement in the Blackheath community for some years, but having asked four agents from different agencies to appraise my property in Hartley when considering selling, it was Adele's interest in the property, her appreciation and understanding of it, and her honesty in appraising it, that led me to choose her as the agent to handle the sale. Adele really got the feel of the place - looked at every tree I had planted (there were many), walked the Labyrinth I had created, before even stepping into the house. She also drank the tank water from the tap. I felt she understood house and the land, the way I had built and developed it, and understood what I wanted in a purchaser - not just someone with a hoard of money to spend, but someone who would appreciate the twenty years of work that had gone into developing that property - both house and land. Adele has been very patient with me, and very honest in her assessment of the market. She has given me good advice throughout the selling period, and I am grateful to her hard work and that of the team she leads. Although the sale price that was finally achieved was below my expectations it was within the range that Adele had advised me when she first assessed the property. And the purchasers she attracted are exactly the people I know will love and care for that property as I have done. I couldn't ask for more than that.
