I once again engaged Daryl Katz to sell a property and highly commend him for the work he did to achieve a very pleasing sale price. Daryl has worked for many years in the Artarmon area. He has an exceptional handle on the trends and history of property purchasing and selling in the area, an excellent working knowledge of apartment and unit buildings in the area, as well as a very strong knowledge of Artarmon buyers. Daryl provided me with exceptional and timely advice regarding each stage of the sale, including preparing the property. As I was interstate, he communicated very helpfully - both on the phone and with regular email updates and consulted me appropriately. In addition, he went out of his way to make the practical side of selling work well, including meeting with the stylist and being available to meet me when I was able to visit in person. Daryl acts with exceptional integrity and working with him again this time for the sale again showed this quality. I opted with Daryl's advice to go to auction. The way he dealt with potential buyers and engaged them towards the auction process is to be highly commended. This involved Daryl's high level negotiation skills to keep potential buyers in the mix in the week leading up to auction and to 'hold process' to auction. We have been using Shead Real Estate for many years, so when it came time to sell the Family Home our first choice was Shead. Tony Walker was assigned as our Selling/Auction agent. We appointed Tony as our agent to sell a deceased estate. The property was run down and the gardens overgrown but Tony coordinated the extensive works needed to bring the property up to scratch and communicated with us frequently and regularly as to progress. We cannot over emphasise what a large job this was. He then handled the marketing program and sale negotiations with the same degree of diligence, skill and honest appraisal of the way things were proceeding. Ultimately the property sold for several hundred thousand dollars more than initial estimates given to us. Without Tony Walker's assistance we would not have achieved the result which we did.
