About David

For 39 years I have had the privilege of selling homes in Toowoomba. The comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the market amassed over this time uniquely positions me amongst Toowoomba agents. I have sold some of this city’s most admired homes and specialize in property along the escarpment. It was in July 1984 I joined the family business as a sales agent and three years later became a partner. I am proud that, alongside my brother Peter, the business our father started remains in family ownership and as an independent agency. We attribute our longevity to strong ethics and business acumen, embracing technology and advances within the industry, whilst retaining the personal ‘family’ touch. My most memorable sale occurred in May 1988. At the time, the median house price in Toowoomba was $50,000. After meeting a buyer from NSW and showing them homes over the course of the day, a contract was signed on 2 East Street, Redwood for $650,000 – a record that was not broken for over a decade. I was involved with the resale of this home in 2016 for $2.2 million. Another historic sale was on Tourist Road Rangeville which was the first Toowoomba home to sell over $1 million, setting a record of $1,496,000 in 2002. In 2010 I resold this home for $2,625,000. My personal record is selling one home five times over. Dealing with people and property continues to be a fascinating and rewarding experience, after half my lifetime in the profession. The privilege of being invited to appraise a home is undiminished, and the excitement and satisfaction generated from the negotiation of a sale still remains as compulsive as ever. An ability to negotiate a favorable outcome for both parties has meant a constant source of repeat business. I am an avid supporter of local community events and organizations, and have been a proud and active member of Rotary for over 30 years. I am currently on the advisory board of Friends of Cobb & Co. Museum. I thoroughly enjoy the processes of fundraising and have been fortunate to be involved in many community projects and events in our region.

Peter Snow & Co. is a vibrant, independent company and is the oldest running Real Estate business still in original family ownership in Toowoomba. We opened 1951 in Ruthven Street, and was originally known as Swan & Snow, and became famous for its regular fortnightly auction sales in nearby Scholefield Street. Peter Snow Senior became the sole owner in 1961 and his sons David and Peter are now partners in the company. One of our greatest strengths is our excellent long-standing reputation, which means the company enjoys a very high proportion of repeat business and a continuing strong presence in the local market. We would happily give another 5 stars if they were available! OUTSTANDING!

Michelle gave us outstanding service , and professionalism right from my first phone call. I did phone other agents but Michelle was the only one that gave her time to go through step by step for details that was required for the sale of our property. This was a breath of fresh air after dealing with agents of our two prior sales last year, the other agents had a pre agenda of working for the other parties rather than working in our best interest , lets face it, we were the ones paying the commission. We found with Michelle right from the start listened and was working with us , which was an absolute delight. At all times Michelle went out of her way to keep us informed, and most importantly arranged array of activities that was needed for the sale of our property. Liaised with both Solicitors offices and helped facilitate a smooth transaction of the sale of the property. Professional, experienced , courteous, reliable.

My home of 44 years was recently sold by David. From the outset, his extremely helpful advice and guidance , based on many years of experience was invaluable. His knowledge of the market was honest and correct , and a contract was signed in less than two weeks of being advertised. He was always courteous and available to answer any questions which arose and his advice throughout was most professional . I had every confidence in David’s handling the sale of my home . He exhibited enthusiam , honesty and professionalism .His knowledge , expertise, guidance and respectful manner facilitated the successful sale in spite of the difficult circumstances prevailing at this time. Outstanding Agent

When I was tasked with having to engage an Agent to sell my elderly Aunt’s home I was looking for an Agent that was professional, energetic, personable, had an impressive track record and could convince me that their marketing strategy would result in a relatively quick sale for the right price. David Snow was my choice of Agent and as a result we had a contract signed within weeks. David’s communication skills were excellent and I cannot thank him enough for his efforts and that of his office staff in making the whole experience worthwhile.

Excellent communicator

Having dealt with David many times before, the communication was open, concise which allowed for a simple non fuss transaction. Have complete faith in his professionalism and honesty and would recommend for any buyer or seller to deal with.
