I'd spent 3 months looking for houses, met, and spoke with many agents on the northern Gold Coast. Being a younger buyer I was always able to sense hesitation coming from the agents I met. I never felt I was taken seriously as a buyer. After attempting to buy one property that fell through at contract due to issues on the vendor side, I'd found another property which I had fallen in love with. The house was set to go to auction; so in an attempt to beat any competition, I had made a very generous offer as I was becoming impatient... to my surprise, my offer was met with hostility from the listing agent (who I wont name), who repeatedly questioned how I was going to be paying for the house. I was told I would hear back regarding my offer and after a few days of silence, I was told the house would continue on to auction and I could bid on the house if I was still interested. Out of frustration, I went back on to realestate.com and found a beautiful house listed by Shane and Sally at Finesse. I rang them minutes later and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and professional conversation we had. I explained my situation and what my family and I were looking for! They arranged for me to view the house the next morning, (two days before the auction on the other house) I was treated with the utmost respect and at no point did I question the authenticity of our conversations. That very afternoon I made an offer on the house, and I was delighted to hear back within hours that it was accepted and we would progress to contract. The contract period was flawless; Shane and Sally made it as simple as possible and communicated with me through the whole process. Shane and Sally treated me like a legitimate buyer right away, they understood my situation and did not judge me on first impressions.. The other house I made an offer on however, still, nearly 3 months later, has not sold… I’m glad to be writing this from the kitchen of my new house that Shane and Sally Ann sold me!!
