When we inspected the property he was aware we had kids coming with us and had snacks out for them so we could inspect it properly and made all of us feel welcome. He had good knowledge on the area and the background of the house which made us feel at ease moving into a new area. He was open and honest all the way through and kept us up to date on the progress. Throughout the long settlement Shane kept in contact with us and anything that needed follow up with timelines, we would get a friendly reminder. Overall very pleased - there have been a few surprises, such as the fact that whilst the wall mounted TV was included, after getting a technician out it became evident that the TV was worthless as it was analogue and only worked during inspection because the owners had Foxtel - further that despite the fact there were a number of telephone and data points, only after having a technician come out were we made aware that these were not live. Finally, that whilst the pool filter currently appeared to be operating, when we engaged a specialist pool technician we were advised the filter required replacing. Whilst these things would not have stopped us purchasing, they were not disclosed and not uncovered through a general B&P - so it would have impacted significantly on our offer.
