The highest praise I can give David is that he kept his word to me. I’m a first home buyer and have found the process of negotiating a purchase quite terrifying. I generally refuse to give out my mobile number until I get to the point where I am actually interested in a property, and from personal negative experience I don’t trust anything an agent tells me. I didn’t trust David either, but once we exchanged contracts I realised he’d been honest with me and had stuck to his word. I am really grateful to him. You have to be a pretty good agent to end up with a happy vendor *and* a happy purchaser!

David and the team supported me through every step in the sales journey, presenting options and advice. Selling is stressful, but much reduced through their management of the logistics. What could have been a stressful procedure is over, made less stressful by David Diamantopoulos and the Devine team. A special mention to Jane - what an asset. From the start where we interviewed three Real Estate Agencies, it was clear that David from Devine stood out. All matters of the procedure including choices for marketing with a timeline were laid out. We wanted painting, internal cleaning including carpets, garden refurbishment, rubbished removed, some general repairs and styling done as well. We knew enough from TV shows that a house needed to be presented as best as possible for sale. David listened, and got back to us with a list of contacts that did the job cheaply and well, making the $20,000 spent a worthwhile investment. From the start we were kept informed of all enquiries, contracts issued etc. In a slowed buyer's market, we seemed to buck the trend with an incredible result. Were we lucky? Yes, I guess, but behind that luck was a lot of preparation by tradespeople, our own willingness to get stuck in and also to listen to David and his recommendations. We did VERY well on auction day. It all started with picking the right Real Estate Agency and a willingness to listen to suggestions on strategy by them. We'd highly recommend David to friends and neighbours contemplating a sale. Having extensively interviewed 3 Inner West agents over the phone and checked their online reviews it became very clear David ticked all the boxes. Living 1,000km away it still however felt a little like a leap of faith but I could not have wished for more. Integrity, proactive, professional and with extensive local knowledge and experience, David (and Jane Saliba) treated my property as if it were their own. A bit of a refresh (minor repairs, fresh paint and new flooring) and styling was recommended which they helped organise and manage on my behalf, keeping me updated every step of the way with a combination of emails, photos, phone calls and texts. From my perspective the entire process (from initial appointment to a great result and through to settlement) was largely hassle free, low stress and easy as a result of trusting a business that exceeded expectations. I have already highly recommended David and Jane to several people and will continue to do so without hesitation.
