My wife and I had lived in the same house for 20 years, created a family with 6 kids and had never thought about selling, well, that is, until we did (think about selling)! Prior to putting our house on the market, we looked at a few houses in the surrounding suburbs to get a feel for the market and house presentation. During this period we also got a sense for Real Estate Agent behaviour, which unfortunately, in the majority of instances, lived up to it’s ugly reputation.
