Dale has been instrumental in getting us into our new home. I came into the market as a complete novice. I have never been interested in properties and like a lot of Gen Y, the focus in my earlier years has not been any kind of investment. I found myself in a position where myself, and my wife needed to move fairly quickly. The most logical thing was to buy as we did not want to have leases that are short. Our last lease was 8 years. We set Dale a pretty tough task, a few key must haves, in a very competitive location, and not a huge budget. With incentives for first home owners granting in NSW, we expected tough competition. Dale is like the perfect teacher. I think anyone can use the tools today to present a bunch of products, tick some boxes to say I have done the work I am supposed to. Dale is totally not what I expected. We set a 3 week time frame to buy, during June-July. Dale looked at 23 properties for me, using his own network which sometimes I won't have access to. He presented 1 place, and it is the perfect place for us. Everything we asked for and more. Next he guided us through why he has chosen, what he has. Linking strata fees, condition of the fund and zero broken light bulbs in the building as reasons why it is sound. Dale has this ability to not just sell a property, or a service, it is beyond understanding your needs even. I put it down to the ability to give a commercial teaching. For a novice like me, I valued that so much. No one would have been able to teach me those things, for me to fully appreciate a life aspect that should be very important but I know very little. Dale guided use through pricing, negotiated for us, and got us our first home less than what we would have paid going in ourselves. In a competitive area, in a competitive market. Post sales, it was all Dale handling the paperwork, double checking legal and again, teaching, explaining what they are and why I should look for certain things. Thank you so very much!
