I love real estate and I love my job, it’s that simple. I pride myself on working diligently for you and offering you a personalised, efficient service in selling your residence. Knowing that a Sowersby family member has been working at Walshe & Whitelock since 1937, provides you with the confidence in our real estate expertise. I have accumulated my fair share of credentials over the years including; a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), Bachelor of Arts (Literature), member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA) and Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate). As a Chartered Accountant I have a detailed knowledge of tax implications, best practice process, policies and procedures and all other general financial reporting requirements. Being brought up surrounded by real estate agents has meant that my life has always been enveloped by real estate and that this is much more than a job for me. I am always happy to help people with any real estate queries that they have so feel free to give me a call for a chat.

About Peter

My love for real estate started at a young age when I began attending Open for Inspections and inner city Auctions on Saturdays with my father David and grandfather Bryan. After finishing school I was excited to commence my career in real estate and in 2004 I completed my real estate licence and have worked at Walshe and Whitelock since. I enjoy and thrive on helping people find the perfect property and ensure every sale transaction is an easy and simple process. My hobbies include spending time with my family and friends and I enjoy playing sport and following the AFL. Whatever your real estate needs please feel free to give me a call for a friendly chat. I one day hope my sons can follow in my foot steps and will become the 4th generation Sowersby to work at Walshe and Whitelock.

About Michael

Real estate is not simply a career choice for me, it’s in my blood. I was born into a family with a rich history in the real estate industry, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience from both my father David Sowersby and grandfather Bryan Sowersby. In 2001, I earned my real estate licence and began my time at Walshe and Whitelock on a professional basis; but have been observing my predecessors in these hallways for as long as I can remember. Aside from real estate, my other passions include friends, family and all forms of sport, particularly AFL and cricket.

Patient, Professional, and Communicative

Working with Peter and the team at W&W has been a pleasure. I never felt rushed or pressures to make a decision after asking Peter & Michael to value the property and provide a quote for their services, and that patience continued throughout the whole process. They were always happy to answer any questions, and were consistently quick with their responses. Opens were arranged well in advance, and they have been brilliant in looking after property access throughout the inspection process. Plus, we managed to sell prior to auction! Thanks so much team.

Fantastic result Peter, thankyou !

Peter and the team at Walshe & Whitelock where amazing to deal with from start to finish. Selling our family home was a big decision for us and we met with many real estate agents prior to choosing Peter. Peter was amazing, honest and very knowledgeable, his assessment of our property was spot on and he achieved a great result on Auction day! Impressionable, honest & great to deal with.

A++ for Jane & her family through all stages of selling my property. Entering the new world of the pandemic & selling a property had a few concerns but I had full trust & faith in Jane. Honest, down to earth & confident approach from her & the team ultimately leading to a great auction result. I would highly recommend W&W for selling your property & I will use again in future.

Jane was a fantastic agent.

Not your typical agent!

Not your typical agent! Jane from Walshe and Whitelock made us feel like part of the family from start to finish. We were introduced to her brothers and father (who introduced himself as Dad). Jane and the family work together to produce the highest quality service. Jane kept us informed throughout the whole process and there were no false promises made. Jane was very calming through the Auction process along with the rest of the team in what can be a very stressful time. Even after the sale the help has not ceased as she is now helping a family member find a rental property. Thanks Jane, we could not recommend you more highly.
