This was my 3rd house sale. One I particularly wanted to get right after having not great experiences in the past. This time I chose an unusual approach to selecting the agency for my house sale. I sourced 4 local agencies and sent the lead partner of each a request for proposal. The request was accompanied by information about my historic home and what I was particularly keen to understand from them to aid my decision. It was my attempt to bring a bit of science to what is a highly relational and emotive process. A major life event. I really wanted to work with an agency who understood what I was hoping for my home without feeling like I was being railroaded or smooth talked into some ultimately not great. I invited each agency to make a time to view the house and meet with me ahead of sending in their proposal. What an eye opener! The variations were quite dramatic. The estimated sale price, the sales percentage, the advertising recommended, and how they would approach the overall marketing campaign. Jason Sharpe stood out immediately. He has a quieter manner. Less sell. Above all he listened and was straight forward in his response. Minimal hyperbole. And no mansplaining. The Woodards proposal had strong details of how they would approach the campaign based upon recent sales experience and knowledge of the area and market. It should be noted, I included a read through of Rate My Agent and it did also influence my decision to go with Jason. In short they met all my criteria. During the campaign the soundness of my decision was regularly reinforced. My family and I appreciated the integrity he and his colleague Vicki showed throughout. In a difficult market the house sold after being passed in at auction. I did not at any point feel like I was being railroaded or pushed. When asked Jason gave solid advice with sound reasons behind each call. And each potential purchaser was spoken of with great respect. Highly recommended. A delight to deal with

In possibly not the most straightforward transaction, Stuart was able to deal with all of our queries and concerns quickly and efficiently.
