We asked Aaron to pitch for the assignment of selling our Park St Moonee Ponds apartment, which we have had for 12 years. A family member knew another agent who worked in Moonee Ponds and he also wanted an opportunity to pitch for the assignment. We believed the apartment was quite special and from day one, Aaron expressed his belief that despite the poor market conditions, with the right strategy, we would be successful in meeting our expectations - as he also believed the apartment was special. We were impressed with Aaron's knowledge of the market in the area and with his strategic approach to the sale process. His guidance as to how much effort and money should be invested in preparing the apartment for sale was spot on! He was incredibly responsive to any query or request we had, and as we had shown an interest in each step of the process, Aaron allowed us to review all advertising materials and acted positively to our suggestions. About two years ago, we had an apartment in Melbourne we wished to evaluate with a view to deciding whether to hold or sell. We used 3 different agents (including Aaron) in that appraisal process. Initially, based on all their appraisals, we decided to hold the property. In the intervening 12 months before our subsequent decision to sell, Aaron was the only one of the 3 that continually kept in touch with us (but not to an annoying extent). During that period, he kept us appraised of the market movement in the area and kept us informed. When we made the decision to sell, clearly, we chose Aaron to act for us - the discussions as to what approach to take, our expectations and other requirements / preferences were all factored in. We never had to chase Aaron for updates as to progress - he was always on the front foot - telling us where we were at by phone / text a couple of times a week, plus weekly video email reports - and all of this through a tough time in the Victorian real estate market.
