Do yourself a favour and use this agent to sell your waterfront home.
How do you choose a real estate agent? I didn't know. They all dress nicely enough, drive nice cars, tell you all sorts of wonderful anecdotes, tell you about their buyers lined up "on their books" waiting to buy, and of course how much they can sell your house for.
I found out the hard way. I was impressed by the big real estate name, the big For Sale signs, the big advertising sections in local papers, and the 65 sales agents from all the local sales offices that walked through with the intention of spreading the word. 100 groups through, 5 months later, and $14K in advertising bills...I went to Alex.
Granted this was not your average Port Hacking waterfront property. It contained a separate title Land Off the Plan in addition to the Main House Lot. I'd hazard waterfront sales don't get much more complicated than this.
But I think the comparison of chaulk and cheese is fair. Alex has all the style, substance, and smarts you could hope for. The previous agent was ridiculously difficult to contact between, Friday 4pm and Monday 3pm. Alex is doing deals and sms'ing you at 11pm. If that's not dedication, I don't know what is! And the deal was done. Actual buyers on his books he brought through without ANY advertising or signs. Each made an offer. Each was fully briefed and serious. Preparation and actually prepping these buyers was key.
In addition, Alex takes the time to discuss with you the situation, comes to a way to move forwards to get the deal done, never dismisses your sales thoughts or suggestions, and is 100% honest and upfront in giving his advice and sharing his substantial experience. And happily doesn't engage in blowing smoke up the proverbial.
Not to mention Alex's staff would be remiss. Lovable, fun, on the ball, charming. And knowledgeable. Ben truly is a champion.
Did we get a good outcome? Most definitely. And I give full credit to Alex. How do you choose a real estate agent to sell your property? If you know what's good for you, you HAVE.
