As we moved from Cairns to Adelaide , we decide to by a property and 1 came up at 43 universal road , Salisbury downs , Adelaide . We brought property of Andrew Farnworth from ray whitesteam at Salisbury for $280,000. As most people we made it our home and done a few things to make it ours , After 12month my work wasn't going so well so we decide to pack and head back north, as we were happy with Andrew and team from ray whites we thought we would get them to sell for us ,offers between $299,000 and $328,000 , As most people now its hard to get rid of the family home and we signed a contract and within 4 days someone had put in an offer and for $320,000 , we new we asking a high price for our property as most in the area weren't going for that . Then 4 hours before cooling off they pulled out off the contract , we were so disappointed . The following day we got a phone call from Andrew to say another couple wanted a viewing and then they put in an offer for $325,000 , $5,000 more than the last people , as time went on through settlement , were waiting for them to pull out , but settlement went through fine . If it wasn't for Andrew farnworth selling and marketing our property the right way I don't think we would off got the price we got , I would recommend Andrew farnworth too anybody that is trying to sell as he will go out off his way to get the best price and make both parties happy at the end off the day. I had 3 agents come out to value my home and give me tips about how to get my house ready for sale. I had a further 3 agents who insisted on coming out to have a look at my house when I would go to open inspections. I picked Andrew as he really seemed to know a lot about marketing. At the same time Andrew was very, very respectful about what I wanted. At times during the sale of my house I became disappointed. Being older I often do not understand certain things. Andrew was very, very patient and would take time to explain what and why he was doing what he was doing.
