We were impressed with Ian’s knowledge of the area. He showed us a number of properties in our price range and took on board the things that were important to us. He was very easy to contact, personable and professional. He and his staff were very good to deal with.

Ian was great to work with - professional, responsive and approachable

PROFESSIONAL! PERSEVERANCE! HARD WORKING & EMPATHETIC This is how I describe Ian Dempsey, his executive assistant, Rose and Ian’s other team members at Ray White Preston. COVID 19 put a spanner in the works during our sales campaign but Ian Dempsey adapted quickly to the unpredictable situation, kept calm and gave advice throughout the very long sales campaign period. Ian persevered and worked hard during the peak of the pandemic and in the end, Ian was able to achieve a good and fair result for both the vendor and buyer. In Ian’s exact words, “We got there, pandemics and all” With my referral to Ian of my neighbour across the road, Ian managed to sell that property as well and at a record price for the area, setting a great standard and precedent for what can be achieved in the area. I am looking forward to the next phase of the sales process (a smooth settlement) and in particular, to a long and on going professional relationship with Ian for many years to come. Thanks for a job well done!

We engaged Ian as our agent based on previous dealings as a buyer of properties he sold. However, this time we were the vendors and realised following a meeting that he was totally committed to work for his client. As we were selling during COVID-19 stage, it was important that we had to create a 'point of difference' in our sales campaign to ensure it attracted buyers. From discussing the Marketing Plan and advising us on the one that suited us (not just the most expensive), Ian was able to deliver a product that marketed our house with exceptional feedback and views. Our properties photos and sales information captured online views that were 2-3 times higher than the average properties viewed. We were advised daily on the inspections to be held and he followed up with feedback on the potential clients. He was genuine in his feedback and never told us what we wanted to hear but what the feedback actually was. We would certainly use his services again. In summary - under promised and over delivered. Thanks for a great outcome !!!

Ian and his team were excellent from start to finish. As a group we all sat down, put a plan in place and carried it out very well. My partner works from home so open houses had to be all pre-approved, Ian had no problem in doing this. Open homes were always on schedule and on time. Prior to putting our house up for sale Ian and ourselves reviewed the market came up with a realistic reserve price that was met with Ease. Ian was very honest, upfront and punctual throughout the entire process. I would not hesitate at all to recommend Ian to family or friends who were considering selling there property.

Ian is a very friendly and personable chap, I have no doubt he did his best to get the best possible result for us (the vendors) that he could. I realise the circumstances, selling a home in the middle of a pandemic was not the best time to do so. However on reflection my wife and I were reasonable happy with the result, which was in part due to Ian's persistence.

Ian is highly professional and has a wealth of market knowledge and insight. He communicated with us every step of the way and achieved a great result for the sale of our property. We would highly recommend him.

Ian and his team did a fantastic job when we recently asked them to help us sell our property. Ian has great knowledge of the local market and trends. He was quick, efficient and happy to answer all questions. He is a great professional and we are happy to recommend him to our friends and neighbours.

It has been a pleasure to have met Ian. He brings a relaxed and at the same time, very motivated and enthusiastic approach, that , along with a warm and friendly nature is a winning combination in his occupation. He was always easy to contact and returned my calls promptly and in response to my enquiries about the properties and sales process, he was straightforward, clear and informative. Throughout the auction process, his professionalism and communication skills were greatly in evidence and prospective vendors can be most assured that Ian would do his utmost to achieve the best outcome on their behalf.

Ian knows his job. He understands the market, the buyers and the vendors. Ian is set and forget. He knows what to do, does everything he says he will do and follows through. Ian and his team are attentive but not smothering. Professional and effective, Ian stood out the first moment we met him.

Ian was approachable, responsive and personable. He helped a stressful process to be an enjoyable one.

Ian was such a professional and extremely authentic. I actually don't think I've met an estate agent like him before and I used to work in the industry. Ian was honest, efficient, not at all pushy and importantly very open with his communication, you don't have to read between the lines. Nothing was a trouble, even when I wanted to visit the property 4 times, and he went above and beyond to have an additional condition agreed with the vendor. I would highly recommend anyone looking to buy to connect with Ian and his team. Both Rose and Daniel from his team were wonderful to deal with as well and it shows that Ian is passing on his experience and style to his team. The bonus was it was fun as well!
