To say David Cutler of Purple Bricks is the consummate professional is a truly massive understatement. From the second we met him, we knew we had found the right person for the job. If only we had hired David sooner, instead we stressfully endured 112 days on market with a so called expert local agency; David SOLD our property within 6 days with only 1 open home. If the the competition had half as much integrity, transparency & genuine caring people skills as David they'd probably have a better business. Well I have been waiting to write this review since the first phone call I had with David Cutler. The time had come to part with our investment property and after extensive consultation with our current real estate agency I was disheartened to say the least. The cost was in my opinion severely high, over $5000 for marketing plus 2.2% commission ($9000) and they thought it best to ditch the tenant and have it professionally styled adding at least 2 months lost rent plus settlement time and approx $1000 in styling fees. Thats well over $20,000 and possibly a lot more. An amount we could not afford to spend. In walks the neighbour whilst I'm slowly having a heart attack reading the email of costs and conversation leads to Purple Bricks. Here's how things went from there. My initial conversation with David was fantastic as have been all the others that have followed. Informative, knowledgeable, and sometimes even a little humorous! ( just jokes, you're hilarious David). It has been nothing but a pleasure dealing with David, we were kept informed and up to date through the whole process and could rest easy knowing David was on the case! Our property sold in exactly 6 weeks. To say we were very happy with the outcome would be a massive understatement, the whole process worked seemlessly for us, it could not have been easier. We ended up with more than what the other agent had hoped he could get and saved thousands! I could not recommend David Cutler and Purplebricks highly enough. Seriously the same price for everyone no matter what your property is worth. And a fair price at that. One that i believe is far more inline with the service provided from agents. Did I mention the property we sold is actually 2.5 hrs away from where we live and I have never actually met David in person. Ha ha, never met the guy but knew from the beginning he was trustworthy and the right choice for us. 42 days later ( no stress as I still had my lovely tenant who always pays his rent
Over the years I have bought and sold 10 properties, 4 in the UK and 6 in Australia, so I guess I could be described as fairly experienced in the property market and dealing with estate agents. I have no hesitation therefore in highly recommending Purplebricks and in particular David Cutler. David provided an exemplary service which resulted in the sale of our property within 2 weeks at the price that we wanted to achieve. My estimated savings through using Purplebricks as opposed to a "conventional agent" is around $12,000.

David Cutler from Purplebricks has been of huge assistance in buying my first home. Nothing has been too much hassle. He was particularly great during late-night negotiations before the sale and a last-minute hold up with finance. The purchase process is transparent in that you log your offer direct with the vendor via the Purplebricks website and they then respond back. I truly believe this helped achieve a win-win for myself and the vendor. I got a great price and they didn't have to pay commission on the sale. Thank you again.

From the initial meeting to the final 'Sold' sticker on the board, David has been nothing but helpful, supportive and reasuring. The whole process was seamless and so easy...the follow up support and feedback after each inspection was brilliant and the regular check ins by Purplebricks was great too....I would never ever go back to a traditional Real Estate Agent team again.
