In the ever changing climate of selling property it is hard to find a very reliable real estate agent but my friend and i found one in Purple Bricks and in particular David Cutler. At the outset we were hoping to sell to make a profit but trying to sell apartments at a profit is very difficult at this time. but David went with us at the start but we were to find out that the price we were asking was too high. We were very disappointed but David pointed us to the evidence we were asking too much and along the way to the final sale he was there continuously helping and advising us, even helping us with a very difficult rival real estate agent who was the rent collector. we would definately go with Purple Bricks again and very strongly endorse their employee David Cutler. 100% excellent work David, thanks again.....Paul and Brent

I recently purchased a home in Bayside and David Cutler and Lyndall Giblin were the agents. They were so helpful - responding to all my questions and were refreshingly open and honest. No problem was too big - they opened the house for a special inspection and since purchasing they have continued this wonderful service. Lyndall has been a delight to deal with and very helpful.
From start to finish David Cutler was professional, helpful and above all honest in his advice and feedback. Purplebricks did everything normal real estate agency does less about $20,000.00 in commission. There was no discount service, no lack of enthusiasm, no wasted opportunities and nothing less than professional services at a quarter of the price. The opens saw over 30 interested parties through. The auction resulted in the property being passed in and negotiations commenced. They did another open on the Monday and had another offer who had not attended the auction. David and the team of ladies never stopped working. We had a deal signed on the Wednesday after it was passed in at better than what we expected given the downturn in the market. The only people who cost us money was the builder Marco Polo who took 7 months to fix a leaking roof. Overall the experience was great and I highly recommend Purplebricks and especially David Cutler to anyone. None of the concerns raised by 'traditional agencies" were experienced. I still believe you buy a house not the agent so their fear mongering is more a protectionist strategy than anything based on fact. I think they know they are on the way out. Their commission on this sale would have been about $28,000 and instead we paid $7,200. Well done Purplebricks. Will never go back to anything else.
David Cutler of Purple Bricks is such a nice person and that is what makes him a great Estate Agent. He really cares about his clients. He is not driven by a sale he actually wants to see his clients be content with the sale of their property. Other Estate Agents should take note of how David conducts himself with his clients. He always returns calls and he really helps. For me selling my Unit in Highett I had put off doing many times as I was not keen on how the estate agents handle the whole process nor how much they took out of the sale. But having seen the ad for Purple Bricks on the television I contacted them and made an appointment with David Cutler. As he was due to knock on my door my car decided to get a flat battery as soon as I parked it. When I mentioned this to David he was so gracious and told me not to worry he would jump start it for me after our meeting. True to his word he did. This was evidence to me that he is a nice decent person and would be a good ethical Estate Agent. David found me the buyers for my Unit and he helped with the negotiation to get the best price for my Unit in the market place. He also was there listening and giving me hope as I expressed my fears of being able to find a new home in time. He even helped in speaking with a few estate agents about some properties I was interested in buying. He is so helpful I cannot say this enough. He deserves all the success he gets.
