Having lived in our family home for thirty two years it was a daunting task when we decided that it was time to downsize and sell. Kathleen spent months getting to know us before we decided to sell our home of 47 years. We recently sold our home in Wallsend via Kathleen Matinlassi. The whole experience was the best Real Estate sale process we have experienced, from start to finish. Prior to listing with Kathleen, we had the house for sale with a local Wallsend agent for 4 months. We listed at their recommended sale price, reduced it twice along the way, kept the house, gardens etc spotless, had approximately 10 open houses, plus a few private inspections in that time. Result; no interest, no offers, just a lot of work and expense during that time. Most days at the open houses, the agent was lucky to see one or two people. Would phone us up later with the result, “One couple today, no real interest” “Was too hot today” “Was too cold today” “more excuses” One Saturday during our open house we went to my parent’s house to visit. They are elderly, and their elevated lounge room window to the street overlooked the house across the road which was for sale. There was a crowd each Saturday inspecting and it ended up selling for asking price. The owners let us know the name of their agent Kathleen Matinlassi. Kathleen was amazing and supportive throughout the entire sales process of our house. From the very beginning when signing with her and setting the price and plan, Kathleen is honest and knowledgeable of the market and buying/selling process.
