We can’t speak highly enough of James and Francesca. We signed to list with them on the Wednesday, the advertising was published on the Thursday and we had a signed contract of sale on the Friday! I had initially called a number of agents for an appraisal of our property and to discuss putting it on the market. James and Francesca arrived on our door within two hours of calling them. They seemed to have a clear understanding of our home, how the market was performing and specific expertise in selling Victorian heritage homes. While other agents we saw were friendly, they were either not as prepared with their local market reports (presenting un-renovated properties in other parts of town), were hard to get on the phone, or they tried to lower our expectations of the potential sale price (by up to $100,000!). Even our questions to other agents about similar properties that had recently sold in our suburb we’re dampened by responses of “the market has changed and that property is different because …” In contrast James and Francesca presented a sale price range, stuck to it and most importantly they delivered. They had an affordable and effective marketing plan and they were persistent and hungry to get us the sale. We obviously couldn’t be happier with the results - James and Francesca are extremely professional, they work hard, the photos and marketing materials were first class, and support staff at Biggin and Scott Ballarat are a pleasure to deal with.

overall very pleased with our outcome. we had a little hiccup at the start of our proceedings but fran overcome this wth integrity and professionalism. fran was always available via text or phone to answer our questions which made the process easier. i would have no issues in recommending fran and using her again.

We wanted to sell our house and had never sold property before. I contacted Francesca after a flyer was dropped in my letterbox saying that Biggin and Scott could give me an idea of what we could do to increase the value and market appeal of our home. I am so glad I did! From the first meeting we always felt that Fran was working in our best interests and once we had acted on some of her suggestions the asking price of our house went up considerably. I did take the opportunity of getting valuations from other agents before we decided on Biggin and Scott and no other agent could offer me as complete a package of expected value of the home, marketing and communication as Francesca could.
