I contacted McGraths Realty after reviewing their style of advertising on Realestate.com. I was impressed by the photography, concise property description and the way in which pricing was advertised in an open manner, instead of the usual ‘contact agent’ statement. Despite my property needing further work at that time, I asked for an agent to provide me with honest feedback on whether my expectations were unrealistic. At that time I had engaged with a couple of other agencies and I was less than impressed with their pricing and advertising options. Also, despite the market being fairly buoyant at that time, they valued my property $550k lower than what I knew it was worth. We first met Jordan Williams (from McGrath Estate Agents, based in Paddington, Brisbane) at an open house in our neighbourhood and asked about getting a house appraisal and making plans for selling our house later in the year.
