I had communicated our interest with Alex on our first inspection, with some questions regarding the interest of the vendors to settle ahead of auction. It seems that this conversation was not transmitted to Lauchlan (and perhaps not the vendors) and it was only in a follow up phone call from Lauchlan a few days later that we told him of our interest and things moved forward from then. The contract was ready initially and that took close to a week to become available.
