When I met Lauchlan first as a buyer I was impressed by his knowledge of the area and the market in general. His helpful, matter of fact style, stood out from the other agents I had encountered that day who had been either been disinterested or verging on aggressive. Over the years he stayed in touch, updating me as other apartments in the block sold. Covid-19 for me meant being stood down without pay from my job in travel, then the tenant advised they would be breaking lease 11 months early, and the bank would not refinance. So the time had come to sell the property as quickly as possible. Lauchlan looked after the logistics of getting the property staged, photographed and on the market while I remained interstate. From the date the tenants moved out to the date final settlement took place was an incredible 10 weeks. His initial rough guide sell price given in early April, without having seen the property in 7 years, was within 5% of the actual sale price. Remarkable given the estimate from the agency which was managing the property at the time was off by almost 20%. He is reliable, has great communication skills and I cannot recommend him more highly.
