About Lisa

When I made the decision to change my career and join the Real Estate profession some 21 years ago, it was after considerable thought and soul searching. My previous careers, which included management, marketing and negotiating I believed, had synergy with real estate. My passion for property and my desire to contribute led me to look into what I thought was a very poorly serviced industry. As a vendor myself, I found it increasingly difficult to obtain someone’s honesty, attention to detail, sensitivity to the project and most of all, the ability to actually sell my property, not just list it. It is so simple to sign an agency agreement but not so easy to sell that property, in the true sense of the word, for an excellent price. I truly believed that I could make a difference utilising my skills and simply treating people with respect and understanding. You may be thinking of upgrading, downsizing, moving from steep to flat, wanting some views or getting closer to transport, whatever the case… there is a pathway to follow. A systematic, highly organised pathway, one which we will custom design for you, and manage all the way. This process is like many other events, it must be well managed and organized from concept through to completion, for the maximum outcome. This process is a critical element in your forward planning and budgeting. Excellent from start to finish

You couldn't ask for better

I am neither a seller or purchaser, but a renter of a property Lisa has sold (twice in a short period of time). During each sale, Lisa has treated me as a human being, not a renter whom unfortunately some agents do not treat as human. With all my dealings with Lisa, she has be kind, courteous, easy to speak to and a delight to finally meet during the process. She continually listen to my concerns and worries (yes renters do have concerns and worries when the property they live in and love is being sold) and kept me in the loop each step of the way. I cannot recommend Lisa any higher than I can with what I have written, and hence forth have given her details to my boss as she is selling her parents property soon in the area, and Lisa has once again done my boss the utmost job in helping her get the property ready for sale. Great job Lisa, you are one in a million.

Personable, calm, and experienced

Lisa's friendly manner belies a determined effort to get the best price for the seller. Lisa offered to conduct three open houses a week in the tight three-week period leading up to the auction, and kept us informed throughout so we could plan better. PRD's back office team (Vanessa Bava in particular) supports Lisa extremely well; you need both the front and back offices working seamlessly to work the right strategy. We have no hesitation in recommending PRD and Lisa Sherry. Market conditions changed dramatically in Monterey from March 2021, when land value for a 468 sqm plot arguably rose to $1.95m, to about $1.7m in May 2021, which caused a revision in expectations.

Lisa was upfront and honest on what we could do to sell the property. She was very easy to deal with including the team who support her at PRD. I will certainly be looking to use this service in the future.
