We engaged Matt to sell our house because of his stellar reputation, and sure enough he did not fail us. Matt and his team Bryar, Samm and George made our experience selling our house stress free with their excellent organisation skills. We were kept informed every step of the way and was most impressed that they helped us achieve a fantastic sale result.
I have known Matt for the last 4 years, in the capacity as a buyer at the time. Today's review is from the perspective of a seller. I chose Matt & RW because of the good experience we had dealing with Matt as a buyer 4 years ago. I figured that as he managed our expectations very well at the time, as a buyer, he would apply those same skills to our prospective buyers this time around. Matt has a cheerful personality, was communicative and followed up on all enquiries and reported back in good time. Matt's team were all over the sales process and and moved to take action quickly to provide tradesmen to paint & sand the floors and decorate the property ready for viewing. December probably isn't the best month to put the property to auction and due to 2 last minute buyer withdrawals, he postponed the auction for a further 2 weeks. Un-deterred, Matt re-set the auction for 2 weeks later, which was successful even with only 1 committed bidder. Matt did a great job in extracting the maximum amount from the sole buyer. Given the circumstances, he did a terrific job. I'd recommend Matt & his team if you want to get an excellent result selling your property
Mattthew, George and Bryar are an incredible team. They worked tirelessly to ensure we were kept up to date on buyer interest and managed our expectations. Their advice and guidance through what is a stressful process reflected their experience and confidence in the market. There is a reason Matthew is the #1 rated agent in Glebe - he is measured, insightful and responsive. We had a positive experience in a tough market and highly recommend the team.
We chose Matthew and his team because they are the best at selling in Glebe and Forest Lodge. Their expertise, attention to detail and ease at getting things done quickly was amazing. We were able to make decision fast and the communication and updates were timely and via many channels. They have a team of experts that they use to make your place look amazing and get you what you need, from rubbish collection to painting your house. We’re very happy with the outcome we got. Thanks Matthew and team!
Matt lived up to expectations as a highly experienced professional. He ran a successful campaign and his extensive experience showed. He achieved a fantastic result and gave excellent advice along the way. He displayed excellent leadership of his team, who worked tirelessly to support him. He created a positive environment for all involved in the process and kept us informed of details throughout the campaign. I would highly recommend Matt as a polished, highly skilled and respectful professional who goes about his business with style, grace and integrity.
The way Matthew and his team handled the preparation of our house for sale, and the sales process itself, could not have been better. They were highly professional, state of the art, personable and a delight to deal with. Their updates, information and recommendations represented great customer service. Most impressive was Matthew's skill as a negotiator: he did a sensational job for us and I couldn't recommend this agency more highly. The best buy-and-sell experience of my life!
We recently bought a property through Matthew and then sold our existing home. We have bought and sold many properties in the past. Matthew’s relaxed and caring manner took the stress out of the whole process. His laid back attitude belies the fact that he is highly efficient and totally in control of the process! His experience was on display with his thorough a thorough knowledge of the market and strategies for both buying and selling. It’s not the agent alone that is important however, but the quality of the entire team….. they were exceptional! Offering wonderful support, advice, copywriting and photography, not to mention help from other supporting agents on the team. Nothing was too much trouble and the response was immediate! We felt that Matthew was a fair and honest player from both perspectives. We could not recommend him more highly!

If you're selling in the inner west around the Glebe/Forest Lodge area or surrounds, we can't recommend Matt Carvalho and his team highly enough. They are simply the best in the area and will bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, their can-do attitude and their vast networks to help you reach the result you're after. They achieved a result for us that was better than expected and we would absolutely go to them again in future for selling or buying, as we trust they have access to the best properties in the area.
