About Peter

Peter began his professional career as a teacher at two Perth primary schools over the space of 10 years. With a change in career paths, he has been a sales agent since 1990 having previously been owner and licensee of his own business “Menaglio Kohn Real Estate” with business partner Susy Kohn, until the company merged with Edison Property in 2016 to create Edison Property Residential. Holding an advanced certificate in Real Estate, he has had many highlights to his career receiving numerous REIWA sales awards and holds the title of longest serving agent in the Joondanna and Tuart Hill region. Prior to real estate, Peter had a background in sport playing 238 games for the West Perth Football Club across 12 years. During this time, he was awarded 3 club best and fairest awards and has since been selected for West Perth’s Team of the Century. Peter holds a private pilot’s license and when he isn’t working you will find him on the golf course being quite the golf enthusiast.

Disappointing Experience with Property Purchase I regret to say that this has been the worst property purchase I have ever made. The seller, along with their agent, Mr. Peter Menaglio, attempted to downplay numerous issues with the unit, which were later confirmed by a concerning structural report. Despite raising these concerns, we received little to no support or rectification from Mr. Menaglio. Even after conducting a final inspection, several problems became apparent, and upon moving in, additional issues surfaced. Below is a list of the major concerns: Overall, I did not expect this level of negligence from a reputable real estate agent. The lack of attention to detail and the absence of follow-through on promised repairs have made this experience incredibly frustrating. I strongly advise potential buyers to proceed with caution.

We bought a property from Peter. He was polite, friendly, thorough and honest. The property required some minor repairs, and he attended to these promptly, well within the settlement date. He was also east to communicate with, responding quickly to all messages.

I was referred to Peter by a buyers agent and upon the initial call I felt comfortable working with Peter from that point forward. Peter talked me through the process which included arranging an appraisal. After that was conducted he gave his thoughts as to the presentation and price range of the property based on his research and knowledge of the market. From listing to offers, Peter was engaged, clear and timely communication, advice was given where sought, and he worked with the buyer and property manager through this process, including the final inspection where there were some issues that suddenly arose. I really appreciated Peter's efforts right throughout the process and was happy with the sale and outcome achieved.
