Sydney Inner West is a pretty picky market at the moment and despite a lot of interest in our property we did not get an auction result. Even during this process we felt he looked after our interests and there was no pressure to take a low-ball post auction bid from a potential purchaser who tried to use pressure tactics. When an interested purchaser emerged a few days later he used good negotiation skills to get us a price that sat half way between what were prepared to accept and what we hoped for. Shad Hassen and his team truly went above and beyond our expectations for the sale of my unit in Lewisham. Shad was honest and didn't engage in high pressure tactics to get me to sign with his team - which I really appreciated. Dean Sawdy who was the other agent who worked with Shad to sell the unit was great, giving prompt feedback, is very personable and was the agent who ultimately introduced the buyers. Shad sealed the deal with the buyers and negotiated a price beyond our expectations. Terri, Shad's EA, was amazing in helping arrange furniture styling, photography and all the myriad of things that have to happen to list a place. Together, they made the process as least painful as it could be to sell a place that you are living in with a toddler. Shad also helped negotiate the purchase of our new house - which was truly appreciated. There is no way we would have achieved that price had just used our own instincts on negotiation! It's hard to pick any negatives. Perhaps if there was room for improvement it would be giving more oversight on the online portal viewing statistics & queries to the agency regarding the property. Ultimately, that didn't matter because we sold so quickly - but I imagine in a long sales campaign that would help owners in deciding whether to change the sales strategy. Whilst the selection of an agent to sell your home is a difficult at the best of times, we had the added complication of selling our home from interstate. I found on Auction day that my agent didn't follow through with a auction just negotiated between two people but we were still charged full price for the auction that didn't happen. at the end of settlement it was most difficult to receive my deposit from The Agency, then had to contact my solicitor to request my deposit it was VERY late and they had the audacity to blame my solicitor. The Agency advertised a guide price on three web sites after I requested for no advertised price to be posted, also the sale price was advertised on brochures against my wishes for a letter box drop also no statement was given to us just roughly deposited into our accounts with no itemized account sent to us. I chose the Agency for over three other estate agents as they were the dearest so I thought I would receive better service but was most disappointed in there service. I wish you the best of luck if you take this agency on cause you will need it

When we decided to sell our house, only half renovated we received a lot of different opinions what to do, and what not to do.
