The price Sue O'Brien was able to negotiate for the sale of my Unit in Mosman's Bella Vista Towers exceeded all my expectations. This was a difficult marketing campaign from the start. Sue had to overcome a price set by a recent comparable sale, ambiguities resulting from a Special Levy for replacement of windows throughout the building and evidence of Cement Cancer in the building. Additionally Sue had to show the unit while tenant occupied and work with an owner, me, residing abroad. Quite a list of challenging issues! I was very impressed at the persistent, quiet professionalism Sue displayed in chipping away at these issues and overcoming them. The result is that she was able to set a new "market high price" for Bella Vista Towers' units. Truly and excellent job! (The only time I have experienced the equal is when Sue handled the sale of two properties in Manly and Queescliff respectively, owned by my extended family). But my gratitude to Sue extends beyond the sale of my unit. For me, an investor living abroad, there are always considerations of trust and confidence when choosing an agent. It was five years ago that I commissioned Sue as my exclusive agent to negotiate the acquisition of the Bella Vista Towers' unit on the condition that if successful she and Raine & Horne Manly (R&H) would manage the renting of the unit while I owned it. During these 5 years Sue and the R&H management team have not given me one moment of doubt that I made the right decision in selecting them to represent me. I have been a real estate investor for many years, on two continents, and I have had enough experiences, both good and bad, to benchmark R&H's performance. It was extraordinary. Based on my experience with Sue and R&H Manly, I can recommend their services wholeheartedly and without reservation.
