When a tenant needed to break their lease, JUMP got straight to work making sure the transition went smoothly for everybody. They quickly clarified with the tenant what their 'break lease' costs would be, started advertising and showing the property, and interviewed and found some great new tenants. The house was only empty one week, meaning the old tenants got a decent portion of their bond back, and my costs as landlord were kept to a minimum. There was plenty of communication from JUMP throughout the process; Nina and Mary patiently answered all my questions and gave good advice. The outgoing inspection was extremely thorough and proved how well Lou had 'read' the previous tenants when he recommended them to us as people he thought would take good care of the property. Thank you to JUMP and to our previous tenants for taking such good care of the property, and we wish them all the best in their next chapter. Nina has been very receptive to the few issues we have sent through with our new rental, unfortunately some things cannot be seen when having a walk through, it isn’t until you are actually living in the house and realise some issues start arising around the place, so we are thankful for Nina being so easy to deal with, and getting straight onto repairs.

As a long term landlord with a long term tenant in place who was not at all digitally savvy, I signed up with ChristieRoberts Real Estate a few years ago after trying several other property management agencies - and wish I had changed over sooner. I found Tania Roberts to be a property manager who not only has an excellent understanding of tenancy law and landlord/tenant responsibilities but has the communication skills and attention to detail to manage and respond to my tenant’s concerns and make realistic recommendations and advice to me for action/approve. Tania has always quickly respond to any emails or messages I send her if she can’t take my call straight away. The documentation I regularly received from Christie Roberts Real Estate (eg. rental income statements and inspection reports) have always been clear and accurate and the maintenance and trades persons engaged on my behalf have done some really good work. After deciding to sell my property in Smithfield Plains, I asked Tania for the real estate sales agents that she recommended (NOTE: Christie Roberts are a dedicated property management agency only) and I was impressed with the agents Tania had referred to me. Happily, my long term tenant found alternate housing and I have found a great agent through Tania.
