Jason has great charisma and totally engages the auction crowd. He is entertaining and intriguing to observe. Jason was very conversant with the market and had a good understanding of the neighbourhood. He impressed me with how he read the potential purchasers and connected with each individual on a personal level. The auction was unorthodox as the first bid was $40,000 over the reserve price which surprised not only myself but many other purchasers. It was at this point that Jason's experience and professionalism became paramount and he eased the tension that was felt by potentially competing purchasers. It is with great pleasure that I write this review for Mr. David Lai. Having contacted several local agents I decided on Mr. Lai, the initial meeting was at the home I was selling and he was the only agent who came armed with a full suburb history profile, property history and present market conditions report. This report was impeccably presented and easy to understand. We had lengthy discussions and he explained and answered all my questions and advised me on the best approach for selling the property. Once I signed David to sell the property his hard work went into overdrive. He made himself available to me or potential purchasers 24/7. He attended the property for after hours inspections and remained poised and calm even when potential buyers failed to show up for inspections despite having made a private appointment. He was always polite and encouraged them to re-schedule at a time convenient to the potential purchaser. David kept me informed and up to date with everything regarding my property and general market conditions in this suburb. I did not have to phone David once for an update or information he always kept in touch either via telephone or personal visit to the property. A few days prior to auction David presented a full comprehensive report on how the property was progressing on the market. I had a brief summary of potential purchaser feedback positive and negative, internet traffic and inquiries and potential purchasers who had shown a genuine interest in buying.
