I've now used Claude's services twice, and haven't been disappointed on either occassion. Unfortunately, Real Estate Agents have a reputation of being completely helpful when signing up a new client and then becoming uncommunicative, hard to find, and inflexible once the agency agreement has been signed. In the case a Claude this wasn't the case and we found him to be easy to get along with, straight forward, and looked after us.

Listing the family home of 55 years was always going to be an emotional journey. With our father (the owner of the property), in aged care my brothers and I were very much acting for Dad and always had what Dad would want, along with the best possible outcome for him, in mind. We approached three Bentleigh Agents and before we had met any of them Simon was in front simply by his diligent follow up of the appointment. The same day we initially contacted Buxton's as a potential agent, Simon had hand delivered a personalised proposal. No other agent did that. To me this was a standout as it showed he truly understood the importance of our decision and also that he wanted to be the agent to sell it. When we met Simon a week later he didn't disappoint. Simon's credentials and knowledge are unquestionable however it was his sincere passion that really won us over. As I say, it was an emotional sale and he totally understood that. He was definitely the right Agent for us. Throughout the 'opens' Simon's enthusiasm didn't deteriorate. His colleagues at Buxtons were just as supportive and we even managed to have a few laughs. Connected and with brilliant communication keeping us informed at all times. We never had to phone - Simon or one of his colleagues assigned to our property always phoned us first. Simon sold our unit in East Bentleigh. In the lead up to the auction Simon was in regular communications with us in regards to visits, enquiries, section 32 requests and general interest in our property. He has an excellent knowledge of the property market in the Bentleigh area and was able to offer great advice in regards to how we should market, promote and display our property. Although we couldn't find a buyer at auction, Simon was able to negotiate privately with buyers and we sold the property above the reserve only three days later.
