I would highly recommend Grant to anyone intending to sell their property as their estate agent. Grant is highly professional in his approach to both the buyer and seller, he is also very encouraging in times when the property is not having much success with regard to open house or auction. Grant is an excellent auctioneer who tries his best to get clients the highest possible bid at auction.

Just like to say a few words regarding Grant. I was recommended to Grant from a neighbour. They did not let me down. I found Grant to be hard working and very motivated to sell my property. He always gave me regular feedback on my property and was very diligent. I have since referred him to another friend (who also sold his property) and have no hesitation to recommend to many more. If you want someone to sell your property with honesty and hard work Grant is the man!

Hi Grant, Just wanting to say thank you for all the assistance you gave to us in the campaign to sell our home. We felt you and all the team at Hocking Stuart managed the whole process with great panache. We were comfortable approaching you for information, you always kept us in the loop and you offered us knowledgeable, sound advice. The auction was well conducted, lively and produced a great result for us. So thankyou for all your hard work, well done and I would happily work with you and the team again.

We highly commend Phil for his exceptional service during the recent purchase Of our Rosebud West property. Phil made himself readily available at all times and ensured that we were fully informed He showed obvious concern, and all aspects were addressed, which made the Whole experience stress-free. We found that Phil’s handling of the sale ,to be above and beyond the call of professional conduct. This resulted in the whole process being a smooth and enjoyable transition. In my 45 years of buying and selling my own properties, I have never met a better, honest and caring agent as Philip Down.

Hi Sellers If you are selling your home please don’t look any further and don’t waste your time with agents that don’t work for you but make you spend a huge amount of money on advertising fees. We have worked with many agents in the Peninsula but have to say that Grant has gained our families trust and confidence. He has sold 2 of our properties within 2 months. The second one was sold only in 3 days once it was listed with a fantastic result. I would like to congratulate Grant of the sale and more than the sale, I would like to congratulate him in regards to gaining our trust , respect and confidence. He always kept us updated throughout the sale journey. He has excellent customer service skills. I highly recommend Grant to anybody who really wants to sell their house with great results and most important with excellent customer service skills. Hope to keep this relationship with Grant and keep working with him.

We were very impressed with Grants performance in the recent sale of a property of ours in Rosebud. After having it listed for a long time with another agent in Rosebud he was able to get a quick sale, keeping us informed with progress and taking a keen interest in listening to and meeting our brief (unlike our old agent). We commend him for his hard work. Wayne and Barbara.

In January 2015 I decided to sell my property in Vickie Court Rosebud. Having been in Real Estate for 8 years myself, I pretty well knew what I wanted in an agent and what it takes to sell a property as quickly as possible and with as little fuss. The biggest issue I had was that I live in North Queensland and couldn't physically meet the agents at the market appraisals. Like most people I decided I would chat to three agents who I believed held biggest market share in the area, then book flights and travel down to Melbourne to meet them before picking one to use as my sales agent. I wanted to give the job to someone I thought was very much like myself in business, hard working, loyal, honest, upfront and most of all didn't just tell me "what I wanted to hear" Having spoken to two agents on the phone I decided straight away they weren't for me.... push tactics, upselling a sales plan I didn't like or just sounding slimy...... Many Agents do that well. I was then contacted by Phil Down who straight away came across as pleasant, believable, a nice family guy, had solid area knowledge but most of all a person who I could tell, my target market would relate to and trust. Without even meeting Phil in person I felt confident to use him as the agent, I wanted to represent my property. Very quickly and with no fuss he organised the pictures, advertising and a couple of weeks of open homes. The rest is history...... The property sold in 16 days for a great price and I am one happy seller. I would have no issues recommending Phil and his team to any future seller in the Peninsula area. The follow up after contracts were signed was great and his congratulatory phone call on settlement day was very nice to receive also. I wish Phil all the best of luck for the future and hope his family who I heard so much about, enjoy camping along for foreshore again next year. Regards Ben Chrimes

We are extremely greatful for Grants professional assistance in selling our home at Rosebud West. This was the first time we have ever sold a home & Grant made it stress free, quick & easy. During the negotiate with the buyer Grant kept us informed so that we knew every step of the way what was happening. Grant is far more organised than other agent we have provide an appraisal initially, most other agencies didn't bother even calling us back. Thanks again Grant. You're a legend!
