I moved in to a new rental less then a week ago. Since moving in, I have advised the agency of several things that need to be repaired or removed. I emailed this list as requested on the 29/11. I have followed up via phone each day since, requesting to speak to the property manager and have still had no response. I am currently using a camp lantern in my bathroom as the light does not work and am also storing someone else's old furniture in the garage that is in my tenancy agreement. this is just two of the things I have reported. Rating may change if my issues are resolved and communication gets better.

I have been renting now for about 6 years, with 5 different agencies. Unlike all of the others, I have been quite comfortable with Ian McNamee & Partners, there hasn't been constant hassle nor a complete lack of communication. It's one of the better agencies out there, and seriously worth considering.

Recently my tenant vacated my unit and I rang and told Grace specifically to tell the tenant do not bother to deep clean the tile carpets but just vacuum up rubbish and dust as I was going to replace them with new carpets (I didn't want to waste human energy in time and money in cleaning something that was going to be thrown out!) Information was not passed on to the tenant and the tenant was told by Kerrie the tiles carpets was not clean enough even the tenant knew I was getting new carpet in as she let the carpet man in to measure the rooms! The tenant happened to drop by on carpet laying day and told me this information. Furthermore as property manager should have patient to listen to owners and tenant.
