It's been a few years since I have rented through an agency so I'm not sure if this is the norm, however it appears, the start up process at least, everything is geared to suit the agency/owner, and not so much the tenant, like i am somehow not as important. Information requested by me re. biocycle, after an initial inspection, was not replied to. I had to again request it, a person I requested not to be on the lease, was put on the lease, info on the bond form was incorrect, I asked 5 days before moving in for keys the afternoon before moving day, but was told the paperwork had already been done, however I had to request the lease paperwork 2 days before moving in as it had not been sent through, I returned the entry report in the requested timeframe, however even though I reported a leaking tap (I am to pay for water) and that there were no keys for downstairs granny flat, and other things, I have received no communication from agent re. where my copy of the entry report is, or outcome of the issues. I emailed agent a week later, her response was she would contact the owners? 2 days later and I still have no info on the matter. (Tap still leaking) I have done all I have been asked to, paid dep, paid bond, pay rent a day early to clear in your bank acc, entry report after 3 days. It all seems a little one sided or is this all part of your policys and procedures when dealing with tenants?
