This focus was maintained throughout my dealings with Nick not just at the outset when one would expect the salesperson to be striving to "win business". Nick gave immediate feedback on how to maximise sale value (critical to me), current sales trends and where the market was and where it was heading including critical timings (selling season). Nick is an excellent client communicator and communicated significant milestones day and when necessary at night. He was always available for support and feedback when required. Nick is totally dedicated to his client and works singularly for the client at all times. It was a pleasure to see Nick in action both as a salesman presenting his case to me on why I should appoint him as my agent and his presentations to me of emerging market intelligence as the sales process unfolded. Nick is an excellent time manager, he reported to me in a timely manner, he was timely with his actions and follow up and was punctual for all appointments-(his punctuality was critical, and he was always on time). Nick employs a clear strategy with selling his client's property-this was discussed with me in detail. The strategy works! Nick follows up with clients. This is where others fall down. Nick van Vliet is a great listener who acts upon what his client says. I found Nick van Vliet to be intensely "focused and dedicated to client outcomes". Valerie Timms and her team guided me through the a difficult process as I had to prepare my place for sale quite quickly, as I had already purchased interstate. Valerie never over promised anything and communicated with me in a very clear way. She provided me with fantastic advice on what I should do to prepare my property for sale with an efficient and effective makeover, through a specialist company in RAW Structures, which was a team that was well known to Valerie. It turned out this was a fantastic investment that has lead to a great sale result at auction. He is a skilled negotiator and has a combination of amazing energy levels and a high level of interest, enthusiasm and dedication to his job, which I have found rare. His demonstrated active concern for my ongoing welfare (being an older person) was both surprising and rare, and he was infinitely patient with my questions.
