My partner and I moved in on Friday the 12th and spent the majority of the day moving our personal items into the rental. Upon arrival we noticed a list of hazards such as fire hazard, pest hazard and health hazards which were concerning. Understanding that our property manager was not working at the time we discovered these - we left messages on both her personal phone and the real estate it’s self. It’s now Monday, we’ve made 5 calls to the property manager as well as emails and have not heard a word nor received a call regarding these matters, we have also contacted the real estate itself and have been told they cannot do anything other than leave a message for our property manager to get in contact. We were told before moving in, that we would have to delay our move in date for the house to be cleaned, which it most definitely wasn’t considering all the cleaning we had to do ourselves including cleaning black mould out of the main bedroom.
