The bottom fell out of the market just as the property was listed, due to interest rate rises. This was not foreseen and adjustment had to be made. There were many open house days, the advertising was excellent. My daughter had dealings with Brett through sales for other entities and this was one of the reason that The Edge was selected by us for the sale of the property. Brett discussed all aspects of the sale and we were comfortable in his presence. All interactions with any of the staff from The Edge were friendly and welcoming.

There was a change of agent representing us (to Tami Lever). She was very pleasant and efficient, always responded when called and there were no problems with her management. The settlement price was $30,000 below the original asking price (which had been suggested by The Edge as "market value".) This was disappointing, but Tami had recommended that it would speed up the process, as a quick settlement was a priority.

It is fitting that Tom's office is located close to the Harbour. We set out on a voyage to sell our loved property in Sawtell with Tom at the helm. Initially the waters in the harbour were calm and all was well. Then we became becalmed and doubts arose as to whether we would ever reach our desired port. BUT water and weather changes! The sun shone, the winds blew and we were making great progress again. Then the storm clouds appeared and the waves began to toss us around. We retreated into our cabin fearing that we may have to abandon ship. All the while Tom, the captain of our vessel, was guiding it and us safely towards our destination.
