I have recently sold my house in Malvern with Williams Batters, and it was an excellent experience. The stressful time of the auction lead up was handled extremely well. Having three Opens per week meant the momentum of interest was kept up during this time. The staff were courteous and sensitive to how difficult this time can be for a vendor. The Auction itself, conducted by Phillippe Batters, was outstanding. Phillippe is a gifted Auctioneer, linking up the various potential buyers, pacing and timing the bids to achieve the best results for all those involved. He would have to be the best Auctioneer in Australia, and the younger Agents are lucky to have him around to learn some of the techniques of conducting a good auction. Thank you to Williams Batters for making the Sale process so smooth for me.

Philippe and his team undertook a challenging assignment when I asked them to market and auction my property in just six weeks. They provided very valuable guidance and some useful introductions for the process of preparing and presenting the property for viewing and managed the marketing and the viewing process very effectively. Their feedback of market intelligence and viewer feedback was excellent throughout and the auction itself was successful in achieving more than my reserve price. I have to say that Philippe Batters' handling of the auction was masterful; there were stages where both I and, I found out afterwards, he, were concerned that it had stalled but he re-booted the process very effectively and a very satisfactory conclusion was achieved. Selling a property is never easy, particularly when it's done to a very tight time-frame, but the Williams Batters team really did make it as painless as possible and I commend them highly for their professional expertise in all aspects of the process. Philippe and his team sold our house in South Yarra in July 2014. Philippe was a wonderful safe pair of hands for us through the whole process of selling. His knowledge of the South Yarra and inner east Melbourne areas is second to none. He had a great gauge for what was going on in the market with buyers and sellers, and gave us enormous guidance from marketing the property right through to auction day.
