Through my engagement with the Buxton team, my experience as a tenant has been fantastic! What has made this even more positive, is I am also a landlord (dont live in my own properties) which is managed by Buxton, as Buxton Tenant as well, I know from my experience they do and will look after my tenants, which probably explains why my tenants become long term renters (bonus). Recently purchased an investment property through Buxton Ballarat, who are now managing the property. Very impressed by the Property Manager (Sarah T) assigned to us, who secured a tenant before settlement. Very proactive, very organized, great communicator. We are definitely in good hands.

Although my rental journey seemed slow to start with a couple of unsuccessful applications it soon picked up momentum and I received a couple of approvals. The Property Manager and team were very patient and were able to ease my anxiety about finding a suitable rental property within my price range. I appreciate all their assistance during a very stressful time in covid lockdown.

I have been very disappointed with Buxton Ballarat. I have lost money on my investment, allowing a tenant to break her lease and not have to continue to pay rent. The house not left up to standard, bond returned to tenant and new tenants rushed in. Then not being able to increase my rent, due to break lease. I am still having issues trying to sort this out. Not happy at all! I have had several issues with accounts. They have had to refund me money on 3 different occasions. Hundreds of dollars. Not a good start. My son is also with Buxton and has had a lot of issues. I hope this improves.

Even though I didn’t meet Sarah as I was away for work, my wife won’t stop talking about how helpful she was during the whole moving process.
