What I felt in face value does not seem to be the same via email. I counted my stars truly lucky when I attained this rental property within the timeframe I had to move out after the sale of my home. However the dissatisfaction started upon accusation of breaking a cooktop which as per the handyperson who assessed it claimed it certainly fell off. It's coming to 2 months since I moved in and still have a rusty dishwasher rack, maintenance contractors come through without informing me and as I had an intruder 3 days into moving into the property I get startled from anyone accessing into the property. I was also told that an exposed light in the living room will be as it is cause I had viewed the property this way and this is what I will get. Honestly , who looks up at a ceiling when they are viewing a property? My experience could have been better . I am more than determined now to come off the rent trap as there seems to be a lack of empathy towards renters.

Do yourself a favour, If you have an investment property in the area make sure you go through Kristie-Lee at Xceed, She’s gone above and beyond with the whole process, from inspections, to renovations to finding tenants she has been great. I’ve had property managers in the past and they don’t come close. Couldn’t recommend enough

Assuming this is a special case since the property was being under maintenance prior to moving in, the unit was handed over in unacceptable cleaning conditions. I felt that the property cleaning was rushed to meet the contract deadline, however it would have been better to communicate the issue to avoid handing over the property in the condition that it was.
