Initially terrible, but a new agent solved the issues
I had a terrible experience with my first agent at Petrusma who didn't follow up properly on arrears and convinced me to allow the person to stay for a second year despite, as I found out later, the terrible state of the property. Being a first time landlord I really didn't have the experience to understand what was happening and the process that should have been taking place. That person left Petrusma and the agent who replaced her, I'm glad to say, really stepped up in getting this tenant evicted and in explaining the process to me. All in all, it was an extremely costly experience (not to mention heartbreaking to see the current state of my house), but I am happy with my current agent's management of the bad situation she inherited. I am appreciative that Petrusma stepped up to fix the issues, though I would perhaps advise people new to hiring property managers to look elsewhere.
