We first met Keith when he called around to talk to us about selling our home, on a sweltering day and it was a public holiday! Keith sat with us and explained what we would need to do to put our home on the market. We decided not to sell at that time and left again for overseas. Every week I was checking what was selling in our local area and Keith was always getting the best prices for the homeowners, he would sell a 3 bedroom home for more than other agents were selling 4 and 5 bedroom homes. Within days of returning to Australia, Keith was there for us, advising on paint and flooring and putting us in touch with very nice tradespeople from the area, who had reasonable pricing. Keith had our home sold within the 2 weeks he promised and after every open house, would ring promptly and inform us of the numbers of people at the viewing, Section 32s, and people on return inspections. Keith made everything painless and was very professional, charming, and just a really nice person. I think as Keith lives in Kilsyth South he has a much better feel for the area than other agents and it shows in the prices he is achieving, there must be many happy sellers. Keith was putting our bins out and bringing them back to the garage as we were not living in the area, that shows how ready he is to help. Whilst the price received was higher than expected, it was the care and support shown by Rodney that was the most important aspect of this experience. Having built and lived in this home for more than 40 years – during which my mother cared for my father for over 20 years following a severe stroke – the process of selling was always going to be both emotional and daunting for my mother. However, from the first meeting, Rodney was at all times respectful, understanding and willing to explain things any number of times. This care and consideration continued once the house was listed and he was busy showing potential buyers through the property. During the final negotiations, Rodney again demonstrated his professionalism and integrity as he allowed my mother to make the final decision as to whom she would sell.
