Derek is genuine. A lot of agents out there give off an untrustworthy "salesman shark" type persona yet Derek is the complete opposite. He was upfront and honest and put in the extra effort to assist with the transaction even briefly acting as proxy settlement agent for the seller while they were still getting their sh** together.
